Planning commission approves 2026 meeting schedule; meetings to move to 150 Main Street

The Calvert County Planning Commission approved its proposed regular meeting schedule for 2026 during the Oct. 15 meeting. Commissioners voted to accept the calendar after staff presented the proposed dates.
Tamara Blake Wallace told the commission, "our new meetings ... will be held within the new building, 150 Main Street from here on that." Commissioner Kernan moved to approve the proposed 2026 schedule and Commissioner Curry seconded; the motion carried by voice vote.
Wallace indicated that staff will provide additional information about the new meeting location and that the next meeting is expected to be the first held at 150 Main Street. The schedule approval was routine and did not include amendments to meeting frequency or start times.
