Gates ZBA approves April minutes, tables Cornerstone Centre variance and adjourns
Summary
The Gates Zoning Board approved April 2026 minutes (one abstention), tabled Cornerstone Centre LLC’s variance request pending Monroe County review, and adjourned the June 8, 2026 meeting.
Chairperson Tina Albanese-Stauffer opened the June 8, 2026 meeting and the board voted to accept the April 2026 minutes after a motion by Roger Thaine and a second from Dick Lippa; the minutes were approved with one abstention.
The board then heard Application No. 1 from Cornerstone Centre LLC concerning a proposed 16-by-30 shed at 2300 Buffalo Road and, because the Monroe County Planning Board response required for properties on or within 500 feet of a State or County road had not been received, moved to table the application until that response is obtained. The motion to table was made by Don Ioannone and carried with recorded yes votes from Lippa, Ioannone, Redfern, Thaine and Chair Albanese-Stauffer. Steve Zimmer moved to adjourn; the motion carried.
