Council recognizes Country Fair Days volunteers and Central Park stage donors

The South Weber City Council on Sept. 9 publicly thanked volunteers and donors who supported the 2025 Country Fair Days and a recent stage extension at Central Park.
Mayor Rod Westbroek highlighted the Country Fair Days committee chairs Tani and Chad Lynch, Traci Wiese and Keith and Vicki Christensen for their volunteer work. City Manager David Larson told the council the stage "has been used during Country Fair Days and for many other community events for decades" and noted community members contributed time and money to extend and improve the facility. "A plaque honoring Paul Sturm, Ryan Roper, Rod Westbroek, Aaron Westbroek, and Keith Christensen will be placed in the park," Larson said.
The council offered formal thanks during the meeting and recorded the donors and volunteers in the meeting packet; no financial amounts were provided in the minutes.
