Board notes Dec. 18 bid opening for Community Crossing projects; reserve right to reject

“We've advertised for 3 bids to be received on the December 18 at 05:00,” the chair said, adding the council has the right to reject all bids if the timing proves unsuitable. Council members noted the December timing might be inconvenient and discussed the town's options if bids arrive when winter conditions make work difficult; no final decision to delay or reject bids was recorded at the meeting.
Staff will proceed with the published schedule but indicated they could return to the board if the town opts to reject bids and re-advertise.
