Willard City reported 1,451 active registered voters and a total of 521 ballots cast in the Nov. 4, 2025 municipal general election, a turnout of 35.91 percent, according to the official canvass certified Nov. 18.
Deputy Recorder Michelle Drago told the Board the number of ballots counted on election night was 404 (27.84 percent), and after counting all valid ballots the total rose to 521 (35.91 percent). She also confirmed five by-mail ballots were received after the Nov. 4 8:00 p.m. deadline and were not counted; those were sealed with the election results.
Precinct-level reports attached to the canvass show variation between Willard precincts: Willard 1 reported 39.55 percent turnout (794 registered voters) with 281 votes for mayor in that precinct; Willard 2 reported 31.51 percent turnout (657 registered voters) with 164 votes for mayor in that precinct. The precinct breakdowns also show the distribution of council votes across the two precincts.
City officials filed the canvass and supporting county reports as part of the official record; the Board voted unanimously to accept those results at the Nov. 18 canvass meeting.
