Superintendent Dr. Zuniga said the district plans a modest evening event (target date Friday, July 17) at Mountain View High School’s student center or cafetorium, with cap-and-gown photos and brief remarks; organizers expect a small cohort and will offer options for trustees to participate in‑person or via prerecorded messages.
Board members welcomed the proposal as a way to give students who completed make‑up coursework the ceremonial recognition their classmates receive in the spring. Staff will finalize logistics, notify eligible students and their families, and provide trustees the option to attend or record congratulations for students unable to attend.
