Representatives of the Sheffield Village Hall Alliance asked the board to allow removal of paneling and a drop ceiling in the lower northeast room of the old village hall so the space can be used for guided tours during the Sheffield Summer Festival scheduled for June 26–28, 2025. The group was directed to complete and submit an event application for consideration at the May 13, 2025 meeting.
The minutes record the request but do not show a formal vote or approval at the April 8 meeting. Trustees will have an opportunity to review the event application and any required restoration or safety steps before granting permission to alter the old village hall interior.
