The WPark Concrete Volunteer Committee reported a donation campaign balance of $17,950 and plans to pour concrete under the pavilion before the Sheffield Summer Festival on June 26, 2025. President Mary Lanham moved the park-item earlier on the agenda to accommodate the committee update; the committee estimated concrete materials at roughly $11,920 and scheduled forming to begin April 10, 2025.
Committee representatives said Phase 2 will include an electrical breaker box upgrade and installation of LED lights beneath the pavilion. Materials for Phase 2 are to be ordered through the Village and paid from donations in the Park Improvement Fund; the board took no formal action but recorded the update for future agenda follow-up.
