The Village of Sheffield board handled routine business and several noncontroversial items during its Feb. 11 meeting. The board approved the Jan. 14 minutes (Adams moved; Pratt seconded) and the regular bills and payroll (Corwin moved; Adams seconded); both motions carried by roll call 5-0. President Mary Lanham presented the Illini Valley Association of Realtors Fair Housing Proclamation and the board adopted it unanimously.
President Lanham asked for a motion to enter executive session under 5 ILCS 120/2(c) to discuss personnel matters; the board entered closed session at 6:19 p.m. and returned to open session at 6:34 p.m. Following executive session the board approved personnel recommendations and then adjourned at 6:36 p.m. There were no public comments recorded during the meeting.
