The Village of Sheffield board voted Feb. 11 to purchase an E-Citations printer for a Sheffield Police Department squad car as part of a county-wide upgrade. President Mary Lanham presented the Bureau County request and Trustee Pratt moved to approve the purchase; Trustee Adams seconded. The board recorded a 5-0 roll-call vote in favor.
Meeting minutes say half of the printer cost will be covered by the Bureau County Circuit Clerk department. The board did not record the full purchase price in the minutes; no public comment followed the motion.
