Board approves Sheffield Summer Fest and Thrive on Main events with band-fund requests

President Mary Lanham presented two community event applications. The board approved the Lions Club's Sheffield Summer Fest to be held June 26–28, 2025 and granted a $5,000 band-fund request (motion by Adams, seconded by Yepsen). Roll call recorded ayes from Adams, DeVoss, Pratt, Price and Yepsen; Trustee Corwin recorded an abstention.
On a separate motion (Adams, seconded by DeVoss), trustees approved the Thrive on Main event for May 10, 2025 and an $850 band-fund request. Roll call recorded ayes Adams, Corwin, DeVoss, Price and Yepsen; Trustee Pratt abstained. Both events were approved with the recorded abstentions noted on the official roll calls.
