Sheffield trustees approve minutes, payroll and regular bills

At its Jan. 14 meeting the Village of Sheffield Board approved the Dec. 9, 2024 meeting minutes and approved the Jan. 14, 2025 regular bills and payroll; votes were recorded by roll call with motions carried unanimously on those items.
Trustee Adams moved and Trustee Pratt seconded a motion to approve the Dec. 9, 2024 regular meeting minutes; the board recorded the motion as carried 6-0. Later, Corwin moved and Adams seconded to approve the Jan. 14, 2025 regular bills and payroll. A roll call recorded ayes from Adams, Corwin, DeVoss, Pratt, Price and Yepsen; nays: none. The motion carried 6-0.
Those routine approvals were taken without extended discussion. Attorney Jacob Frost and President Mary Lanham were present for the meeting, and the board proceeded to other agenda items after recording the votes.
