During the Aug. 5 meeting the council moved to adopt resolutions related to Community Facilities District (CFD) 2019‑1, maintenance services annexation No. 54 (Annexation No. 542). The clerk reported no written protests and county certification that there are no registered voters in the proposed zone. Council moved and the motions passed unanimously to call an election (Resolution 2026‑098) and declare election results for the annexation (Resolution 2026‑099).
The council then waived further reading and introduced by title Ordinance MC1668 (amending MC1522) to levy special taxes to pay maintenance, landscaping, lighting, drainage, reserve fund and administrative expenses for fiscal year 2026–27. The motion to introduce the ordinance passed unanimously. The actions were procedural and are part of the normal annexation and tax levy process for community facilities districts.
Clerk and staff noted the motions and readings were recorded for the public record and the council will return as required for any additional public‑hearing steps or election administration.
