Health Officer Amy Kleiber and Deputy Health Officer Emily Olson attended a HERC meeting in La Crosse on June 5; participants noted falls prevention as a priority for regional planning.
Staff informed the board that Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) contracts are due at the end of June and that no new PHEP budgets had yet been received. The department also plans to deploy hand-washing stations during the Music in the Parks season and will continue coordination with hospital and community partners.
