Michelle Hutter spoke during the public‑participation portion of the Port Orange City Council meeting and described ongoing health problems she attributes to the Pfizer COVID‑19 vaccine. Hutter said she has experienced breathing difficulty, declining B and T cell counts, and is "being watched for Alzheimer's," and that she travelled to Germany for treatment she said is not available in the U.S.
Hutter told council she has filed a lawsuit and said she feels abandoned by local institutions. "I took this shot just so I could see one of my kids come into Mayport, and now it's killing me," she said. Council members responded by thanking her for sharing and offering to have staff follow up on how the city can record her concerns in relevant public processes. The council did not take action related to her allegations during the meeting.
