Council approves $200,000 transfer from LAIF to cover city bills

The Loyalton City Council approved moving $200,000 from the city’s LAIF account to the General Account to cover city bills. Councilmember B. Mertton brought the proposal and, after brief discussion, the council approved the transfer by roll call with Mayor Riede, J. Markum, B. Mertton and S. Mcllravy voting aye.
In the same financial segment the council approved the bill sheet for September 2024 not to exceed $85,562.38. Council discussion noted that reconciled accounts will be moved to the next agenda for review.
