Staff said IT, planning and zoning were alerted and attendees were urged to treat the message as fraudulent.
Later in the meeting, the board discussed proposed redline changes to its rules of procedure, including extending the deadline for requests for reconsideration (15 to 30 days) and clarifying whether physical addresses must accompany written public correspondence. Members asked staff to redistribute materials and deferred formal action until the December meeting to allow review.
