The Board approved a contract with Adam Miller for bridge construction on the Tucker Mountain all-persons access trail (motion by Andrew Lee; second by Shauna Prime). Tucker Mountain Town Forest Management Committee Chair Tom Kidder reported that an archaeology dig is scheduled to begin next week and that the Grove family donated logs for the bridge project; volunteer designer John Nininger was acknowledged for his many hours on the bridge design.
Board members discussed insurance coverage for the bridge; Chair Susan Culp said insurance falls under "outdoor features" and costs relatively little. Bridge construction preparations and the forthcoming archaeology work were noted as distinct deliverables that will proceed under the committee's recommendation.
