Residents urge expanded street sweeping, warn of handwashing‑station tampering and e‑bike safety concerns

At the start of the meeting Mayor Westbroek opened the floor for public comment. Michael Grant (South Weber) thanked volunteers who helped with Country Fair Days and said that "individuals were corrupting the sanitized water at the handwashing stations," recommending adding "do not open" signs to coolers. Kevin Polson sent an email urging attention to children’s safety while operating e‑bikes, scooters, golf carts, side-by-sides, 4‑wheelers, pocket bikes and dirt bikes.
The mayor closed the public-comment period without further speakers. Councilmembers took note of the comments; no immediate action was taken at the meeting other than acknowledgment of the concerns and direction to staff as appropriate in future agenda work.
