Board tables three IMRF-related resolutions until clerk is present

President Ryan Block told the board that Village Clerk Leslie Scidmore worked with the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) to perform an audit and that several resolution actions were recommended to ensure payroll items are reported properly.
The three items—Resolution 2026-01 to include compensation paid under an IRC Section 125 plan (Aflac) as IMRF earnings, Resolution 2026-02 to include cash payments in lieu of health insurance as IMRF earnings, and Resolution 2026-03 to include taxable allowances as IMRF-enterable earnings—were discussed and the board agreed to table action until the clerk can be present to complete the paperwork.
President Block said the audit otherwise went well and the resolutions are largely technical steps to maintain IMRF compliance.
