District reports Windows 11 upgrade issues, 69 new student registrations, and library reopening

Director of Technology & Assessment J. Back told the board the district upgrade to Windows 11 caused a number of issues that required troubleshooting; she thanked Deb and Daniel for resolving most problems before the first day of school. She also credited Buildings & Grounds for installing ViewSonic boards (including two portable units for gym classes) and said there is a district technology meeting scheduled for next week.
J. Back additionally reported that 69 new students have registered in the district so far this school year. Principal K. Loftus announced the grand reopening of the library following a summer makeover and Director of Instructional Services B. Brown said professional development feedback will be used in the October Superintendent Conference Day.
