Council on May 13 authorized advertisement for continued renovations of the Borough Building under an LSA grant and approved an HVAC contract award to the lowest responsible bidder pending formal announcement.
Councilwoman Amy Nabors moved (DeVerse second) to advertise for HVAC upgrades, security cameras, doors and door access controls under the most recent LSA grant; the motion passed unanimously. Later, the council voted to award the HVAC project for the unoccupied portion of the Borough Building to the lowest responsible bidder based on a Borough Engineer recommendation, with the award to be announced at the next voting meeting (motion by Miskanin, second by DeVerse; Yes–7, No–0).
Minutes do not list the selected bidder or contract value; council recorded the administrative steps to proceed with advertisement and to finalize and publicize the HVAC award at a subsequent meeting.
