Trustees voted unanimously to adopt three personnel-related resolutions: Resolution 2026-01 to include compensation paid under an IRC Section 125 plan; Resolution 2026-02 to include cash payments in lieu of or related to health insurance as IMRF earnings; and Resolution 2026-03 to include taxable allowances as IMRF earnings enterable. Trustee Fruit moved for the resolutions with seconding votes and voice votes were recorded as all in favor (Trustee Ziegler absent).
President Ryan Block and Village IT Specialist Mike Ryan described a migration from Intermedia to a Microsoft-hosted government community cloud for the village email; Intermedia would perform the migration at no cost but requested a one-year contract. The Board also approved purchase of a new copier/scanner/fax/printer for the police station after committee discussion about leasing versus buying.
