Board schedules public hearing next month on Civic League property disposal

County staff said interest has arisen in additional Ivanhoe Civic League property and the board voted to advertise and hold a public hearing at the next meeting on disposal of the property behind the Civic League building.
Mike Watson, speaking for county staff, told the board there is interest in additional property associated with the Ivanhoe Civic League and recommended scheduling a public hearing so the public can comment on any proposed disposal. "We have this on the agenda tonight to to let you know that there has been an interest in the property and that we will go ahead and schedule a public hearing," Watson said. The board approved a motion to advertise and hold the hearing at the next meeting.
The hearing will consider disposal of the additional parcel behind the Civic League building; staff will publish the required notice and accept public comment at the scheduled meeting.
