President Annie Warshaw summarized seven Freedom of Information Act requests received by the district from May 10 through June 20, 2025. The requests included commercial requests for purchase order and vendor information (Abbas Kim, Civic IQ Inc.; Sheri Reid, Data Acquisition Specialist; Justin Weig, Starjump), requests for lease/purchase/maintenance agreements for mailing equipment (Kalah Love), broader vendor materials (Justin Weig), a request for executed contract copies for the site work and structural portion of the Early Childhood Center project (Gerardo Mendez, IIIFFC), and a request for a list of school and district-level administrators (CT Mills, Public Info Access LLC). Several requests were responded to on dates listed in the minutes and some responses remain pending.
Warshaw noted the district sent responses on specific dates for certain requests and that other requests were pending as of the meeting. No board action was taken on FOIA items during the meeting; the report was informational.
