Staff told the council they are working with Marin County, OEM and flood‑control partners on short‑ and long‑term efforts, including vendor fairs for deployable defenses and coordination around PG&E undergrounding schedules (PG&E’s undergrounding for Christmas Tree Hill is currently planned for construction in 2029 after local advocacy moved the town up the list).
Council members requested written follow‑ups on emergency operations updates, improved emergency communications, and timelines for PG&E coordination and other multi‑agency work. Staff agreed to provide periodic updates and said several projects will carry into the next fiscal year.
