Shorewood approves $117,920 engineering contract for 2026 MFT resurfacing

The Shorewood Village Board approved a professional engineering services agreement with Christopher B. Burke Engineering on May 13 to support phase 2 design and phase 3 construction engineering for the village's 2026 MFT resurfacing project.
Public works staff told the board the 2026 resurfacing list targets approximately 3.1 miles of roadway, including Brook Forest Subdivision, Sunset Veil, River Crossing and Summit Creek subdivisions. "We are recommending approval of the proposal for professional service with Seabell for phase 2 and phase 3 engineering for our upcoming 2026 MFT project in an amount not to exceed $117,920," staff said. The board approved the contract by roll-call vote.
