Engineers tell Canajoharie board town garage punch list remains unfinished

Councilman Rodney Young invited Lamont Engineers to brief the board on the town garage project. Lamont reported the contractor's punch list remains incomplete more than a month after the expected finish. The engineers said they would be sending communication to the contractors expressing the board's displeasure and outlining required corrections.
Lamont's Milan Jackson said he "will be in charge of getting grant contacts to us" and the firm offered a plaque for the new facility; the board asked the Town Clerk to supply the Canajoharie logo. The board did not take new financial action at the meeting but requested follow-up to ensure the punch list is finished and grant contacts are provided.
