Students present fall activities and fundraisers at Lucerne Valley Unified board meeting

Student leaders from across Lucerne Valley Unified summarized fall events and fundraisers during the board meeting.
At Lucerne Valley Elementary, Eagle Leadership presenters said 195 students received at least one book during a recent book-blast event and described house meetings and house-leader selection procedures. “A 195 students earned prizes and everyone received at least 1 book,” a student presenter reported.
LBMS ASB representative Liliana Berlovich told the board the middle school’s ghostly gala and chocolate sales raised over $4,000 for school programs and highlighted upcoming costume contests and scavenger hunts. “We raised over $4,000 to our school,” she said.
High-school ASB also presented homecoming and Mustang Madness highlights, including a 50–0 victory during homecoming; the high-school report noted a recent blood drive that collected 33 completed donations. Trustees thanked the students and staff for organizing events and praised the student-run activities for building school spirit.
The student presentations were part of the meeting’s regular presentations and drew no public opposition or formal board action. The board proceeded to recognition items and subsequent administrative reports.
