Board approves treasurer, legal counsel, depository and existing policy manual

The reorganized Shirland CCSD 134 board approved Stacey Corder as treasurer, retained Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins attorney Scott Nemanich as legal counsel, designated First National (Rockton) as direct depository and approved the existing Board of Education Policy Manual.
On motion and roll-call vote the board approved several administrative appointments and routine governance items. The minutes record unanimous approval ("roll call all ayes") to: appoint Stacey Corder as Treasurer; retain Scott Nemanich of Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins as the district's legal representative; approve First National (Rockton, IL) as the direct depository; and continue with the existing Board of Education Policy Manual.
