The Comanche County Board of Commissioners voted May 11 to continue use-tax funding for the pretrial release program and an alternative sentencing program provided by Court Related Services. Commissioner Josh Powers moved the measure; Commissioner Ryan John seconded and the motion passed with all three commissioners voting aye.
The minutes also record multiple purchase orders to Court Related Services LLC: #266063 for $2,190 (pretrial services, April 2026), #266064 for $1,260 (alternative sentencing, April 2026), #266107 for $5,000 (alternative sentencing, May 2026) and #266108 for $5,000 (pretrial services, May 2026). Those purchase orders were acknowledged as encumbrances during the meeting.
