Town amends highway working agreement and orders shared‑services tracking amid fuel-cost concerns

Haynes told the board the revised agreement reflects current fuel costs and that the State budget—still pending—could affect CHIPS funding the town receives. Paul Irwin moved to accept the amended working agreement; John Hill seconded and the motion carried.
Separately, the board asked that Superintendent Haynes keep written records of hours the Town's highway crew provides services to other towns and of hours other towns provide assistance to Butternuts, to document shared‑services activity.
