Board continues patio grading hearing, closes Community Drive public hearing and approves minutes

On Dec. 16 the South Burlington Development Review Board continued MS2503 (165 Windswept Lane) to Jan. 20, 2026 for revised drainage mapping, closed the public hearing on SP2549 (530 Community Drive) for deliberation, and approved minutes from Oct. 21 and Dec. 2 with an abstention noted.
The board made three procedural actions in the Dec. 16 public session. It voted to continue MS2503 (the Windswept Lane patio/grade application) to Jan. 20, 2026 so the applicant can identify the installed discharge on a site plan and return with a proposed remedy; the motion carried by voice vote. The board also closed the public hearing on SP2549 (530 Community Drive) and moved that matter to deliberation on staff’s draft findings. Finally, the board voted to approve minutes from Oct. 21 and Dec. 2 (one abstention was recorded on the Oct. 21 minutes and an abstention noted for one member on the Dec. 2 minutes).
Chair Dawn Filibert reminded attendees that hearings are recorded and that submitted maps and supplemental materials are available in the project file. Staff indicated the applicant for MS2503 will be expected to resubmit a site plan showing the discharge point and a proposed fix before the Jan. 20 continuation; staff will draft condition language if the board requires it during deliberation.
