Multiple student groups gave presentations and the board honored student and staff achievements. At the elementary update, Sadie Cervini highlighted a book fair (Oct. 20–24), field trips and upcoming events; she told the board the kinders visited the fire station and the school ran an AR celebration. "Today today, we are doing our 4th presentation update," the student presenter said as she summarized fall activities.
Lucerne Valley FFA representatives Kaylee Rice and Lola Malone described competitions, a national convention trip to Indianapolis and upcoming events including a greenhand degree ceremony on Nov. 21. The board also recognized students of the month and named Michelle Shelley Lang as certificated employee of the month and Karen Garcia as classified employee of the month, with trustees praising their service to students and campus safety.
