Elite Academic Academy presents five-year charter renewal, cites enrollment and test-score gains

"We are here to present our verified data to you, for our charter renewal petition," she told the board, citing increases in ELA and math dashboard ratings and a graduation rate listed at about 92.8 percent.
Haynes said Elite’s enrollment has grown from roughly 107 students when the school opened in 2018 to more than 1,200 now and that subgroup gains drove dashboard improvements: "In mathematics ... we went up to 42.74% of students met or exceeded standards," she said. Board members and staff pressed on comparability and A–G course completion; Haynes and Dr. Laura Spencer, the school's chief academic officer, outlined steps to expand A–G offerings, boost dual-enrollment possibilities and enhance CTE pathways. The board closed the hearing and staff said December would be the expected date for formal action on the renewal extension.
