Shorewood previews summer events including concerts, movie nights and Crossroad Fest

Officials presented the village summer calendar, highlighting Parties in the Park opening June 4, 2026 with the band Cadillac Groove and the outdoor movie schedule beginning July 9 (Top Gun). The BBQ & Brew event is scheduled for June 6, 2026, and Crossroad Fest will run July 31 through August 2, 2026.
Economic Development Director Natalie Engels and staff asked residents with historical memorabilia related to the U.S. 250th, Shorewood’s 70th incorporation anniversary (incorporated 1957) or the 100th anniversary of Route 66 to contact the department for display planning (contact: Natalie Engels or Isabelle Bohanek, 815-376-8197).
