Baker highlighted regional initiatives that directly affect South Burlington: communications-union-district fiber extensions that improved internet access in underserved areas, an emerging regional transportation safety action plan aimed at unlocking federal safety funds, and a December 10 legislative breakfast where local concerns (including the EO legal questions) can be raised with legislators. Councilors thanked CCRPC for project partnership and asked for continued coordination on transportation and sidewalk initiatives.
