Catlin board appoints Coleen Austin as town hall custodian, schedules audits

At the Jan. 8 meeting Supervisor LaVerne Phelps moved and Ron Moshier seconded Resolution 26-40 to appoint Coleen Austin as custodian of the Town Hall at a rate of $16.00 per hour; the motion carried with unanimous recorded support from the four board members present.
The board also approved Resolution 26-41 scheduling the 2025 audit of the Town Clerk, Tax Collector and Beaver Valley Water District for Jan. 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.; the Town Court audit will be scheduled at a later date, according to the minutes. The minutes record a previously submitted letter of interest from Coleen Austin and show the board moved to place correspondence and departmental reports on file before taking personnel action.
