Village Clerk Leslie Scidmore presented a purchase order requisition form to centralize and document purchases over $500. Trustee Ziegler moved to approve the form; Trustee Fruit seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
Under the new process, departments will submit purchase-order requisitions to trustees for review and approval for non-emergency purchases over $500. For emergency purchases the board will take a straw-poll vote at the time of the emergency and then confirm with a formal vote at the next regular meeting.
