Kirkland board adopts purchase-order requisition form for purchases over $500

Under the new process, departments will submit purchase-order requisitions to trustees for review and approval for non-emergency purchases over $500. For emergency purchases the board will take a straw-poll vote at the time of the emergency and then confirm with a formal vote at the next regular meeting.
