Board inspects lakeshore property at 13345 White Elk Lane ahead of variance hearing

The Oneida County Board of Adjustment conducted an on-site inspection on June 18 at 13345 White Elk Lane (Parcel B, CSM 21) in the Town of Minocqua prior to the afternoon hearing on a variance appeal.
Secretary Jeff Viegut reported observations from the visit: "The measured distance from the house to the ordinary high water mark was approximately 80 feet. The roof addition to the high water mark was approximately 63 feet. The land condition was good. Erosion was non-existent." The inspection included board members, Planning and Zoning Department staff (Todd Troskey), and the property owners, Thomas and Barbara Grala.
The board recessed for travel to the site at 8:50 a.m. and stated publicly that no official business would be conducted while traveling. The on-site inspection informed the later public hearing and deliberations.
