Commissioners voted to remove a previous $50,000 cap on the Carbondale county farm capital improvement fund so that funds above that level will roll into the county bond capital improvement fund. Chair explained the change is intended to allow the fund to build beyond the prior cap and to provide more flexibility for future improvements at the county farm.
The ordinance was moved and approved by voice vote; commissioners discussed that the county farm capital money will also be used for a future commissioner donation line and that the Carbondale farm retains its own dedicated fund.
