Nancy Bellosa reminded staff that Open Enrollment for employee benefits opened on May 11 and will run through May 22. Ms. Suzanne Batch distributed an email earlier that day outlining key information, and rate sheets are attached to the communication and available in the district's online self-service system.
Batch reiterated that employees may make benefit changes during the enrollment window without a qualifying IRS life event; outside of Open Enrollment, changes normally require events such as marriage, divorce, birth, death, or loss of coverage. Staff urged employees to log into the online system, review current benefit selections, and update elections during the window.
