Dr. Clauson also reiterated longstanding concerns about delays in mailing property tax bills and collections that have created cash-flow problems for the district. The Board approved a resolution urging the Cook County Treasurer and other county officials to resolve systemic issues and implement safeguards to prevent similar disruptions. "The District has returned the check and requested that the Village issue a corrected payment consistent with the IGA," administration said during the meeting notes, and the Board voted to authorize the President and Secretary to sign the resolution.
