Superintendent reports slight enrollment dip, upcoming ribbon cutting and foundation events

Superintendent Bryan Easter told the board that district enrollment has decreased slightly: "Enrollment: 289 - Enrollment is now 287 we have two students that unenrolled." He said the change will appear in the first interim ADA report.
Easter also provided updates on facility projects and said the district will hold a ribbon-cutting on Nov. 21 at 4:30 p.m. for the Kindergarten/TK area, the library and an office expansion. He noted the Foundation will convene to discuss a spring golf tournament and the "Night for Maple" event in April. The board was also informed of the annual organizational meeting scheduled for Dec. 13, 2024 at noon and an SSDA webinar series April 6–9 in Sacramento for trustees.
No formal board action was recorded on facility funding or enrollment mitigation strategies during the meeting; the superintendent said items will appear in upcoming reports.
