Wabasso board accepts more than $20,000 in donations for scholarships and activities

Donors and amounts recorded in the minutes include: Lawrence Macht's $10,000 for scholarships and $6,450 for Programs of Distinction; Jim Ross's $2,000 for Marlys Ross Scholarships; Wabasso Lions $1,000 and Wabasso Booster Club $1,500 for Community Education youth basketball tournament entry fees; Land O'Lakes $500 for FFA; and Farmward $250 for FFA.
The motion to accept the donations carried unanimously. The board recorded the donations individually by donor and purpose in the minutes.
