Board clarifies upcoming Finance and Policy committee meeting dates after brief confusion

The Chair announced, "Finance capital and bond will meet on Wednesday, August 12 at 3PM, Board of Education Center." There was some back-and-forth over the Policy meeting time; after correcting earlier references, the Chair stated the Policy meeting will be held on Aug. 11 at 1:00 p.m. at the Board of Education Center. The Chair acknowledged the scheduling confusion, noting, "We'll get it right 1 of these times."
The board asked staff to communicate meeting times and any back-to-back scheduling to the public so attendees do not mistake one event for another.
