Police Chief Clint Wagner told the South Chicago Heights Board of Trustees on Jan. 5 that the department responded to 541 calls for service in December 2025 and conducted 141 traffic stops that month, compared with 453 calls and 36 stops in December 2024. He distributed a Police Department Annual Report for 2025 and invited questions from trustees.
Chief Wagner also offered a community-facing comment: "I am proud to be the Chief in this community," and asked anyone with questions to reach out to the department. The statistics and the annual report were presented as informational items; trustees did not take formal action on the report during the meeting.
