Council appoints conditional redeveloper for Billingsport Road and authorizes refund on 14 Capitol Street deposit

Council adopted R.25.286, appointing a conditional redeveloper and authorizing execution of a memorandum of understanding for the sale of Block 45 Lots 5, 6 & 8 (Billingsport Road). The resolution was moved by Council President Thomas and seconded by Councilman Singleton and was adopted without recorded dissent.
The council also adopted R.25.287 to refund the deposit for the proposed sale of Block 39 Lot 6.01 (14 Capitol Street); the minutes note the refund will be for the deposit amount less any legal fees incurred by the borough. Both measures were recorded as adopted at the Dec. 29 meeting.
