Administrator Marino told council that Phase I of Fort Billings Park renovations is scheduled to begin in May, with work focused on paving the parking lot, installing a walking path and constructing pickleball courts. He said the borough intends to finish those elements before the July 5 250th celebration and to make the park entrance a two-way road.
Council received and filed a memo from Borough Engineer Erik Biermann and authorized consulting engineer services to submit NJDEP permitting and professional bids for Fort Billings Park (R.26.89). Officials said the park will be closed to the public during Phase I construction.
