During new business at the Aug. 22 special meeting, President Richard Samples reported he had sent roughly 20 letters to local roofing contractors seeking bids to replace the pavilion roof and said he is waiting for responses.
Village Clerk and Treasurer Mindy Olson told trustees the new QuickBooks program has been installed and that configuring accounts and items is a lengthy process. Trustee Tom Jordan relayed that he had visited with Trustee Steve Retzer and encouraged other trustees and community members to reach out to Retzer.
No motions or votes were taken on the pavilion roof or QuickBooks setup during the special meeting; trustees acknowledged the administrative updates and directed staff to return with bid responses and progress reports as needed.
